Just a quick post here while I’m thinking of it. Anyone who’s worked with DC’s in the past knows this I’m sure but for those who are new to that area of IT like me this may be useful. If you’re build process involves adding a user to the local administrators group on your server you’ll have a hard time doing that on a DC . Computer Management doesn’t allow you to even see that information! So, after a bit of digging I was able to find the right commands to add a user to the local admin group via command line
Of course, if you’re adding the same user to every server you probably should be doing it via Group Policy but for those other situations this will do the trick!
